Stay safe when using an ATM always.
- Do not solicit or accept help from people while using an ATM
- Ensure no one is watching when you input your pin
- Notify the security personnel on duty if you notice any suspicious activity or people
- Once you’ve completed your transaction, pocket your cash, and put your card away promptly. Avoid counting money at the machine.
- Don’t leave your transaction receipts at the ATM; they may contain sensitive information. Dispose of them securely
- Use ATMs in bright and busy places, and avoid ones in lonely or dark spots, especially at night.
