Abdul-Samad Rabiu, the Chairman of BUA Group, confirmed that the company would stick to its promise of selling cement at the rate of N3,500 starting from January 2024. After visiting President Bola Tinubu in Lagos, Rabiu discussed this with State House Correspondents.
Despite facing challenges, Rabiu assured that the company would maintain an affordable and accessible price for customers. He explained that the fixed price is N3,500 per bag, excluding VAT, and the total cost for customers depends on the location and delivery distance.
Rabiu highlighted that BUA has factories in Edo and Sokoto states. He also mentioned that the inauguration of the new site in Sokoto, scheduled for January 2024, is expected to contribute to the expansion of the market nationwide.
